Maxxis makes good stuff! Sloane and myself ran their tires for 3 years, and I have nothing but good things to say!
it's been years since i tried them, but they have a really nice line up of tires.
big thing with any 29er tire is the weight, and they seem to have one that hooks up well in a lot of conditions - at a light weight.
