ah, the build is nearing completion after a minor setback due to the asylum fiasco last weekend.
this bike will make her debut at vegascross which is sure to be hella fast as it is very flat (held in a soccer field). the atmosphere will be chaotic with elvis doing the announcing and the race having a fully supplied beer tent.
reminds me of a cross race held in the northeast where the racers actually race through the beer tent.
hells ya.

Yo solo, I saw you up in Solon today (Sunday). I was in a red pickup going thru the parkway and saw you crossing Harper Rd or (one of those roads that crosses the parkway). What were you doin way up there? Did you ride all the way from Kent via the Bike and Hike trail and Bedford Reservation?
no pauls on this frame - got a set of carbon spooky's. matched them up with jagwire post mounts (can switch out the pads for when i run my reynolds carbon's) and salsa hangers because i hate the spooky hangers.
would also consider the new spooky's coming into speedgoat - they are the aluminum version but are drilled out all retro style. guess they cost more then the standard aluminum (not by much, i think) and they weigh almost the same as the carbons. come in blue and red i believe.
yep, was way up there in solon today on the mamasita on a basic out/back ride on a mix of the hike/bike and road. on my hard effort days, i like to try and avoid any heavy traffic and concentrate on a sustained effort. with all my cleveland area rides, i start out of my house. time is precious right now with worlds coming up and i don't have time to travel to go ride.
yo,
what happened to that asylyum frame?!? was just considering one...
